Returns and Refunds

Letshome is highly concerned with the quality of its products and services.

However, if you are not satisfied with a certain product, regardless of whether it is defective or not, you can always return it.

Scope

www.letshome.pt makes every effort to ensure that all services we provide and all products we sell are in perfect working order and in accordance with the technical specifications we publish.

Among the thousands of products we handle and the many customers we serve daily, anomalies may occur. We commit to resolving them quickly, within the legal framework and our capabilities.

We thank you in advance for your understanding and remind you that for a faster resolution of your case, you should pay attention to the following simple procedures upon receipt:

Check that the outer packaging does not show any anomalies (damaged, wet, torn box, etc.).

1.1.3.2
Open the packaging in the indicated areas (when possible), keeping it in good condition for a period of 48 hours.

Check that the products do not show visible defects from transport or manufacturing.

Note all complaints on the Receipt Report.

www.letshome.pt may request an evaluation of the complaint by a technician, with the customer making themselves available for this evaluation within a reasonably short period and always within the warranty period.

Conditions for accepting a return

1.2.1
The customer has the right to return purchased products whenever one of the following situations occurs:

1.2.1.1
The delivered products have manufacturing defects detected and reported within the warranty period (see point 8 of the Terms and Conditions).

1.2.1.2
The delivered products have defects caused by transport to the installation site, detected by the customer on the date of receipt or installation.

1.2.1.3
The delivered products do not comply with the technical specifications indicated on www.letshome.pt or do not reasonably serve the purposes indicated on www.letshome.pt, with the customer complaining about these anomalies within a maximum of 14 days from the date of receipt of the item.

1.2.1.4
Within the scope of the right of free resolution (article 10, no. 1 of Decree-Law 24/2014 of February 14), the customer may return the products without having to justify the reason for the return, as long as they express their intention by registered letter sent to the headquarters of Letshome (Vianatece Artesanato Tecelagem Lda., Zona Industrial do Neiva, 2ª Fase, 4935-232 Neiva, Portugal) within 14 days after receiving the order. In this case, the return is considered the responsibility of the customer.

1.2.2
Product returns are carried out under the following conditions:

The customer must ask www.letshome.pt to pick up the item at the address where it was delivered.

1.2.2.2
In accordance with article 13, no. 2 of Decree-Law 24/2014 of February 14, www.letshome.pt will charge the cost corresponding to the collection and possible dismantling services of the returned products under the conditions indicated in 1.3.

1.2.3
The customer agrees to keep the products they wish to return in the condition in which they were delivered, with the original packaging in reasonable condition to allow resale.

1.2.4
Returned products must contain all delivered accessories, including assembly manuals, hardware, and tools included in the price.

1.2.5
In case of exchange, if the cost of the new order is higher, the user will have to bear the difference, adding the payment of the remainder to the exchange request or doing so when picking up the new order.

Return charges

1.3.1
In the case of a return for which the customer is responsible under point 1.2.1.4, the customer accepts without any restriction that products supplied in "Kit" form that require assembly, carried out by our technicians or third parties, undergo wear and tear during this process that alters their initial supply characteristics.

1.3.1.1
The resale of these products can only be carried out with a significant discount. In the case of a return for which the customer is responsible, the customer accepts that www.letshome.pt deducts from the refund an amount corresponding to the devaluation suffered by the item during the assembly process, 25% of its new value.

1.3.2
In the case of a return for which the customer is responsible, www.letshome.pt will charge shipping costs.

Refunds

1.4.1
Whenever refunds of amounts paid by the customer are due, www.letshome.pt undertakes to make every effort to ensure that they are made as quickly as possible and within a period that never exceeds 30 days.

1.4.1.1
Within 14 days from the date on which www.letshome.pt is informed of the decision to terminate the contract, www.letshome.pt will reimburse the consumer for all payments received, including the costs of delivering the goods under paragraph 2 of article 13 of Decree-Law 24/2014 of February 14 (amended by Law No. 47/2014 of 28.07).

1.4.1.2
Payment refunds will be made using the same payment method used by the customer in the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise and provided that the customer does not incur any costs as a consequence of the refund.

1.4.1.3
www.letshome.pt is not obliged to refund additional delivery costs when the customer expressly requests a delivery method different from and more expensive than the commonly accepted and less expensive method proposed by www.letshome.pt.

1.4.1.4
Except in cases where www.letshome.pt offers to collect the goods, the refund may only be withheld until the items are received or until the consumer provides proof of return of the item.

1.4.1.5
When the item delivered to the customer's home at the time of concluding a contract outside the commercial establishment cannot, due to its nature or size, be returned by mail, www.letshome.pt is responsible for collecting the item and bearing the respective cost.

1.4.1.6
Failure to comply with the refund obligation within the period provided for in paragraph 9.4.1.1 obliges www.letshome.pt to refund double the amounts paid by the customer within 15 working days, without prejudice to the customer's right to compensation for pecuniary and non-pecuniary damages.

Security Procedures at Time of Delivery

Rescheduling Deliveries

1.3.1
You may reschedule your delivery up to 48 hours before the scheduled date, by calling +351 258 350 113 (call to national landline network) from Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, or by emailing encomendas@letshome.pt.

1.3.2
All our deliveries are prepared with a minimum of 48 hours' notice. If you wish to reschedule your delivery after it has been confirmed by our services, www.letshome.pt does not guarantee stock availability and reserves the right to charge the costs corresponding to the reorganization of preparation, logistical, and administrative processes indicated in 6.5.1.

Delivery services use standard access routes to delivery addresses (e.g., stairs, internal elevators) and existing openings (e.g., doors and stairways). They do not use additional transport or lifting equipment or make any changes to building construction.

1.4.1
If delivery services identify a high risk of damage during the transport of products to the delivery or assembly location, they may advise against proceeding. In this case, if the customer wishes to disregard this advice, transport will take place under their responsibility and risk, and www.letshome.pt will not accept costs resulting from damages incurred.

Delivery Anomalies

1.5.1
Anomalies for which the customer is responsible:

1.5.1.1
If delivery is not possible at the indicated address or date, for reasons for which the customer is responsible and without any attempt to reschedule within the deadlines indicated in 6.3.1, the products will return to the distribution warehouse under the following conditions:

They will remain at your disposal for eight days for rescheduling delivery or assembly, after which www.letshome.pt considers that the customer wishes to cancel the delivery.

The costs of cancellation or rescheduling of delivery will be those resulting from stock retention (immobilization of stock at your disposal for the excess period), transport (return of products to the warehouse and new trip for delivery), administrative processes (cancellation of transport guides and invoices issued and production of new transport and billing documents) and warehouse logistics (unloading the truck, storage in the warehouse, new preparation and new loading), with a minimum of €30.00 less than 30% of the order value.

1.5.2
Anomalies for which www.letshome.pt is responsible:

www.letshome.pt makes every effort to meet the delivery times it commits to with customers. In the event of unforeseen circumstances that lead to non-compliance with the delivery of the item on the date confirmed by www.letshome.pt, the customer may choose to reschedule the delivery for a new date or, alternatively, terminate the contract without additional costs, and all amounts paid will be refunded as indicated in 9.4.

1.5.2.2
Upon receipt, the customer must check whether the products delivered to them are in accordance with their order and with the agreed conditions for delivery, and whether they do not show manufacturing or transport defects.

If so, they must immediately make a note on the carrier's waybill, in the designated area, or refuse to accept it.

Product selection phase where the customer will browse our catalog available for sale and place their selection in the "Shopping cart".

The use of a product for purposes other than those presented on the website may imply the total or partial cancellation of the warranty, the possible aptitudes of the products are described on the website, or they will be so noticeable that they do not require additional developments.

The sales prices published on www.letshome.pt are in euros, include all mandatory taxes and fees by law and are valid unless there is a publication error or stockout.

The published sales prices of the products do not include delivery services.

Delivery prices do not include the use of special transport or access means such as external stairs or cranes, or civil construction alterations to doors, windows, stairs or other structures of the property.

www.letshome.pt reserves the right to modify sales prices at the most convenient times, in compliance with the law, and ensuring commitments already made with its customers with the exceptions indicated in point 4.1.

Prices on www.letshome.pt are the same as those in LetsHome physical stores, with the exception of promotional campaigns exclusively for a particular point of sale.

Within the range of products we regularly manage, pricing errors may occur. We will do our best to correct them as quickly as possible. If any of the products you ordered are incorrectly priced, we will contact you using the channels indicated in your identification file. You may, at this point, cancel your order free of charge and all amounts you have already paid will be refunded.

If contact is not possible through the means indicated in your identification file, your order will be considered void.

Stock Availability

The indicated stock availability dates are estimates and are subject to logistical and production factors that we can estimate but are dependent on third parties.

Rescheduling Deliveries

All our deliveries are prepared at least 48 hours in advance. If you wish to reschedule your delivery after confirmation by our services, www.letshome.pt does not guarantee stock availability and reserves the right to charge the costs corresponding to the reorganization of preparation, logistics, and administrative processes indicated in 6.5.1

6.4
Delivery services use usual access points to delivery addresses (e.g., stairs, internal elevators) and existing openings (e.g., doors and stairways). They do not use additional transport or lifting equipment or make any alterations to the building's construction.

6.4.1
If the delivery service identifies a high risk of damage during the transport of products to the delivery or assembly location, they may advise against proceeding. In this case, if the customer wishes to go against this advice, transport will be at their own responsibility and risk, and www.letshome.pt will not accept costs resulting from damages incurred thereby.

6.5
Delivery Anomalies

6.5.1
Anomalies for which the customer is responsible:

6.5.1.1
If delivery is not possible at the address or date indicated, for reasons attributable to you and without an attempt to reschedule within the deadlines indicated in 6.3.1, the products will be returned to the distribution warehouse under the following conditions:

They will be held for eight days for you to reschedule delivery or assembly, after which www.letshome.pt will consider that the customer wishes to cancel the delivery.

6.5.1.3
The costs of cancellation or rescheduling of delivery will be those resulting from the immobilization of stock (stock held at your disposal for the excess period), transport (return of products to the warehouse and new displacement for delivery), administrative processes (cancellation of transport guides and invoices issued and production of new transport and billing documents) and warehouse logistics (unloading of the vehicle, storage in the warehouse, new preparation and new loading), with a minimum of €30.00, not exceeding 30% of the order value.

6.5.2
Anomalies for which www.letshome.pt is responsible

6.5.2.1
www.letshome.pt makes every effort to meet the delivery times it commits to with customers. In the event of unforeseen circumstances leading to non-delivery of the item on the date confirmed by www.letshome.pt, the customer may choose to reschedule delivery for a new date or, alternatively, terminate the contract without additional costs, and all amounts paid will be reimbursed as indicated in 9.4.

6.5.2.2
The customer must verify upon receipt whether the products delivered are in accordance with their order and the agreed delivery conditions, and if they show no manufacturing or transport defects.

6.5.2.2.1
If so, they must immediately make a note on the carrier's waybill, in the reserved space, or refuse to accept it.

Payment always corresponds to the total purchase amount.

Warranty

Products sold on www.letshome.pt that are purchased by "final consumers", understood as "anyone to whom goods are supplied, services are rendered or any rights are transferred, for non-professional use, by a person who professionally carries out an economic activity aiming to obtain benefits", benefit from a 2-year warranty from the date of delivery of the product, in accordance with Portuguese legislation that transposed Directive No. 1999/44/CE of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 25 May, on certain aspects of the sale of consumer goods and associated guarantees.

To exercise the rights referred to in the previous point, the consumer must report the lack of conformity to the seller within two months from the date on which they detected it.

Products sold on www.letshome.pt that are purchased by "professional users", understood as "anyone to whom goods are supplied, services are rendered or any rights are transferred, for professional use, by a person who professionally carries out an economic activity aiming to obtain benefits", benefit from a six-month warranty from the date of delivery of the product, unless otherwise contractually agreed, in accordance with Portuguese law.

8.4
To exercise the rights referred to in the previous point, the professional purchaser must report the lack of conformity to the seller within thirty days from the date on which they detected it.

8.5
In the case of products outside the warranty period, LetsHome also provides technical assistance, so the customer may inform and send defective or damaged items to LetsHome. The items will be analyzed by LethesHome's After-Sales User service, which will issue a technical opinion and a respective repair estimate, if applicable. Repairs will only begin after the User's acceptance of the estimate.

Product Returns

9.1. Scope

www.letshome.pt makes every effort to ensure that all services we provide and all products we sell are in perfect working condition and in accordance with the technical specifications we publish.

9.1.2
Among the thousands of products we handle and the many customers we serve daily, anomalies may occur. We commit to resolving them quickly, within the legal framework and our capabilities.

9.1.3
We thank you for your understanding and remind you that for a quicker resolution of your case, you should pay attention to the following simple procedures upon receipt:

Check if the outer packaging shows any anomaly (damaged, wet, torn box,…).

9.1.3.2
Open the packaging in the indicated areas (when possible) keeping it in good condition for a period of 48 hours.

Check if the products show no visible transport or manufacturing defects.

Note all complaints on the Receipt Report.

www.letshome.pt may request an assessment of the complaint by a technician, with the customer making themselves available for this assessment within a reasonably short period and always within the warranty period.

9.2
Conditions for accepting returns.

9.2.1
The customer has the right to return purchased products whenever one of the following situations occurs:

9.2.1.1
The delivered products show manufacturing defects detected and reported within the warranty period (see point 8).

9.2.1.2
The delivered products show defects caused by transport to the assembly location, detected by the customer at the time of receipt or assembly.

9.2.1.3
The delivered products do not comply with the technical specifications indicated on www.letshome.pt or do not reasonably serve the purposes indicated on www.letshome.pt, with the customer complaining about these anomalies within a maximum period of 14 days from the date of receipt of the item.

9.2.1.4
Under the right of free resolution (article 10, no. 1 of Decree-Law 24/2014 of February 14), the customer can return the products without having to justify the reason for the return, provided that they express their intention by registered letter sent to Letshome's headquarters (Vianatece Artesanato Tecelagem Lda., Zona Industrial do Neiva, 2ª Fase, 4935-232 Neiva, Portugal) within 14 days after receiving the order. In this case, the return is considered the customer's responsibility.

9.2.2
Product returns are carried out under the conditions indicated below:

9.2.2.1
The customer must request www.letshome.pt to pick up the item at the address where it was delivered.

9.2.2.2
In accordance with article 13, no. 2 of Decree-Law 24/2014 of February 14, www.letshome.pt will charge the cost corresponding to the collection services and possible disassembly of returned products under the conditions indicated in 9.3.

9.2.3
The customer agrees to keep the products they wish to return in the condition they were delivered, with the original packaging in reasonable condition to allow for resale.

9.2.4
Returned products must contain all delivered accessories, including assembly manuals, hardware, and tools included in the price.

9.2.5
In case of exchange, if the cost of the new order is higher, the user will have to bear the difference, adding the payment of the remainder to the exchange request or doing so when picking up the new order.

9.3
Return charges.

9.3.1
In the case of a return for which the customer is responsible under point 9.2.1.4, the customer accepts without any restriction that products supplied in a "Kit" that require assembly, carried out by our technicians or third parties, suffer wear and tear during this process that alters their initial supply characteristics.

9.3.1.1
The resale of these products can only be done with a significant discount. In the case of a return for which the customer is responsible, they accept that www.letshome.pt will deduct from the refund an amount corresponding to the devaluation suffered by the good during the assembly process, 25% of its new value.

9.3.2
In the case of a return for which the customer is responsible, www.letshome.pt will charge transport costs.

9.4
Refunds

9.4.1
Whenever refunds of amounts paid by the customer are due, www.letshome.pt undertakes to make every effort to ensure they are processed as quickly as possible.

9.4.1.1
Within 14 days from the date www.letshome.pt is informed of the decision to terminate the contract, www.letshome.pt will reimburse the consumer for all payments received, including the costs of delivery of the goods, in accordance with paragraph 2 of article 13 of Decree-Law 24/2014 of February 14 (amended by Law No. 47/2014 of 28.07).

9.4.1.2
Refunds of payments will be made using the same payment method used by the customer in the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise and provided that the customer does not incur any costs as a result of the refund.

9.4.1.3
www.letshome.pt is not obliged to reimburse additional delivery costs when the customer expressly requests a different and more expensive delivery method than the commonly accepted and less expensive method proposed by www.letshome.pt

9.4.1.4
Except in cases where www.letshome.pt offers to collect the goods, retention of the refund is only permitted until the items are received or until the consumer provides proof of the item's return.

9.4.1.5
When an item delivered to the customer's home at the time of concluding an off-premises contract cannot, due to its nature or size, be returned by post, www.letshome.pt is responsible for collecting the item and bearing the respective cost.

9.4.1.6
Failure to fulfill the reimbursement obligation within the period provided for in no. 9.4.1.1 obliges www.letshome.pt to return double the amounts paid by the customer within 15 business days, without prejudice to the customer's right to compensation for pecuniary and non-pecuniary damages.

Dispute and Liability

For any dispute arising from the application of these General Terms of Use and Sale, a court in the district of Viana do Castelo will have jurisdiction, waiving any other.
